A two-part project firstly adding a wonderfully sized loft conversion, accommodating a new master bedroom and ensuite, and secondly renovating an existing rear extension to bring a dated area into the 21st century.

The loft conversion sees a modern Sika single ply membrane flat roof compliment the spacious newly formed master bedroom and ensuite. Stylish Velux windows allow generous amounts of light in on the pitched area, while newly installed traditional windows opposite. The existing area of the roof was completely stripped and redone and new pan tiles installed throughout.

The ground floor renovations have involved creating a larger, open-plan area, making the whole house feel so much bigger. Existing floors were stripped and new underfloor heating was installed, to replace radiators. The dated existing flat roof was also removed, to allow for a new mono-pitched roof. 3 sizeable Velux windows were installed to maximise natural lighting into the property. The existing, poorly laid out staircase was also completely removed with the St Edmundsbury Homes carpentry department designing and installing a fresh new staircase, transforming the hallway and creating so much more space.
